Amazing new seafood place in Frisco. Food and service were top notch. Love the all day happy hour on Saturday and Sunday. I ordered the tropical tuna tacos which were amazing and my husband ordered the fish and chips which were the best we’ve had in a very long time. My sons enjoyed the options on the kids menu. We were all surprised with a free soup samplers and even my picky eaters tried and liked each of their soups. We can’t wait to go back!
This place had fantastic seafood.
I had the sockeye copper creek salmon. It came with asparagus big enough to use as a bat. The wedge potatoes were crisp and delicious. The dill sauce was just right with a little touch of lemon.
Most of all the staff was friendly fast and serve me 5 minutes before closing even though I offered to walk out. They insisted I stay serve me with Grace speed and friendliness. If you want seafood I don't know why you would eat anywhere else.
The Gulf oysters were poor. The Blackened Snapper and Shrimp had only two shrimps. The Seafood Trio fell short. The Grilled Shrimp seemed to have been processed through a dessicate. The Alabama Catfish was just any farmed fish. The Crabmeat Bisque had a chilli taste that we should have been given advance warning. The Shrimp Tacos were very basic.
Has a lovely ambience. The service was great. Walked in during happy hour so was real happy to order extra cocktails. Bourbon shots were quite pricey though, at $6.75 a shot during happy hour (Them shots shot up my bill). The cocktails we ordered (Paloma and Hurricane) were top notch.
So we ordered a Parmesan flounder and the Honey Chipotle Glazed Cedar Plank Salmon. My wife thought the food was great but maybe I’m a salt person cause I had to sprinkle a little bit of salt to bring out the flavor in my flounder.
Overall, it was a great experience for my wife and I (my wife especially), and that made me happy.
UPDATE Sep 2023: Time for another great seafood dining experience. The first time and last time we were here it was a Plan B choice. This time not doubt A-list all the way. Get there early to beat the crowd on weekday night. By time we left at 7pm the place was full. We got trout and flounder menu items. I liked her flounder meal better, more fish. FIRST REVIEW Nov 2022: For a Plan B restaurant it was very very good. Our 1st choice location nearby was closed due to plumbing problems. SHE who cashes my retirement check remembered this place from her hair dresser's recommendation. It was a good one. We arrived before many customers showed up so we got a booth right away. We mentioned to our waiter this was our first visit so we got free their soup sampler serving. We placed our drink order to try one of their house specials which we got quickly. The wait staff was getting busy with more customers coming in especially the kitchen. So busy that we were provide free salads since our entree was taking too long in kitchen. We got two different entree so there was plenty to eat and took a lot home as leftovers. We left room for desert and ate it all. The staff while busy with many customers gave us a lot of time and attention. The hair dresser recommendation was spot on. See photos.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices seemed a little high, but not too bad. Make sure you check out the chalboard for daily specials. We will definitely be back.
My first time here and will not be the last!
Their spicy pineapple margarita hit the spot! It was the right amount of kick and sweetness!
Their calamari is definitely a must have! crispy and tender! The sauces pair really well with it! Will return just for this!
Service was good but a little slow since they were pretty busy that night. Overall, highly recommend this place!
Do not let the store front fool you, this is a great Seafood Restaurant in Plano. They also have locations in Richardson and Addison. This is a family owned restaurant with a great welcoming environment! Our server Agustin was excellent, the restaurant was busy and he was attentive and provided above and beyond service. When they found out their was our first time we were welcomed by the manager Alfredo who gave us a soup sampler. The sampler included: Roasted poblano Cream, New Orleans Creole Gumbo and New England Clam Chowder. All the soups were tasty and a great way to start our excellent meal. The plating was beautiful and the portion sizes just the right size. On top of their regular menu they have a wall of specials with so many options. Our mains included: Blackened Pacific Snapper with Scallops, Dynamic Shrimp tacos and Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Flounder. Our food came out quickly and everything exceed our expectations. All of our plates were empty!! We finished with the bread pudding which came out steaming topped with vanilla ice cream. Let’s not forget the drinks, they have a standard beer selection but their mixed drinks were on point. Happy Hour is all weekend long!! This is a place that we will come back to again. We will also have to give their brunch menu a try. I suggest making a reservation, especially for busy weekend nights and brunch.
